The NSW government will push ahead with controversial infrastructure projects such as the Western Harbour Tunnel and the F6 motorway after winning the state election but contractors have warned it needs to find enough qualified people to build them.
Labor went to the election opposing the proposed $14 billion Western Harbour Tunnel and adjoining Beaches Link projects and the $2.4 billion first stage of the F6, arguing that the money would be better spent in the near term on fast-tracking an $18 billion metro line from Sydney's CBD to Parramatta.
