CIMIC accused of abandoning employees
A wage scandal is brewing over the ethical obligations of construction group CIMIC and claims by more than 150 employees in the Middle East that they have not been paid wages and other entitlements.

The brewing unpaid wages scandal dates back to CIMIC’s announced sale of its troubled Middle East investment, the BICC Group, in February to a privately owned United Arab Emirates investment company which, according to its website, was established in 2017.
