The board of one of Australia’s biggest cement groups, Adbri, has lost patience with chief executive Nick Miller as the group’s profits continue to slide because of rising costs, wet weather and shrinking margins.
Adbri chairman Raymond Barro said Mr Miller would be replaced with an interim chief executive, Mark Irwin, a former chief commercial officer at copper miner OZ Minerals.
