David Williams, the outspoken investment banker and chairman of PolyNovo, says he makes no apologies for an aggressive management style that led to the abrupt exit of the burns treatment biotech’s chief executive, Swami Raote, after a falling out with the company’s board.
Williams is a high-profile corporate adviser in Melbourne and has worked on some of the country’s biggest agribusiness deals. He has also been a major investor and director at PolyNovo, joining the board in 2014.
