Blackmores in Vitamin C and fish oil spike as colds return

Blackmores’s sales of vitamin C, D, zinc and fish oil have increased in the past few months as shoppers try to ward off the common cold and flu that returned with a vengeance after COVID-19 restrictions kept them at bay for two years.

Chief executive Alastair Symington said the “immunity” suite of products had started to take off initially as shoppers returned to bricks and mortar retail outlets in March, and that momentum had accelerated in the past few months.
