Private equity giant Blackstone enlists former AFL boss Gill McLachlan

Former AFL chief executive Gillon McLachlan has signed as a senior advisor for Blackstone, the private equity giant and owner of Crown Resorts, as the New York-headquartered firm looks for more Australian investments.

Mr McLachlan stepped down from the AFL at the end of the last season and has been linked to a range of jobs across the sport and wagering sectors since his departure.
