London | Aristocrat Leisure has hauled a clutch of gaming groups from Gibraltar, Malta and the British Virgin Islands into an English court, alleging that it has lost sales, goodwill and reputation in Britain from their versions of Buffalo, a popular online pokie game.
In a court filing, Aristocrat said the offshore groups, which are linked to a brand called Pragmatic Play, had all sought to “ride on the coat-tails” of the Aristocrat Buffalo games’ “substantial reputation”.
