Lendlease chief executive Tony Lombardo is doing a good job of looking like he understands urgency.

This week, he’s requested the under-pressure construction and development group’s “key lieutenants” fly in from around the world and meet for a few days of strategy sessions. Last week, he told The Australian Financial Review’s Breakfast with the Boss podcast that he has always been in a hurry to get to the top.
