Unisuper's John Pearce isn't buying renewable energy

Unisuper's chief investment officer, John Pearce, says he is wary of the renewable energy investment boom and will be targeting other low carbon investments as he steers the fund towards a net zero portfolio.

Mr Pearce said he needs no convincing that the world must, and will, decarbonise. The $90 billion super fund he manages on behalf of Australia's university employees has become a vocal and active promoter of low carbon investment.
