UBS banker who complained about bullying ‘frozen out’

A female banker at UBS who complained about bullying and abusive behaviour was frozen out of crucial meetings and reprimanded when she sought help from the Swiss bank’s human resources department, according to current and former employees.

The Sydney-based woman made an informal complaint to her manager in 2018 that one of her bosses regularly used what she considered to be inappropriate language at work, which went beyond the norms associated with the high-pressure world of finance.
