The prudential regulator must produce a near decade-old, secret review into governance at controversial industry superannuation fund Cbus under parliament’s formidable information gathering powers, according to fresh advice.

Managing more than $94 billion in retirement savings, Cbus is one of the nation’s largest super funds, but has faced a series of scandals in the past year.
