Pirate fund king faces court over $4m payments

Former investment fund executive Stuart McAuliffe, who oversaw a sharemarket-listed funds outfit named after dead Caribbean pirates, is to face court about an alleged dishonesty offence relating to $4 million.
Also accused is Sam Elderfield, who held roles within the pirate-themed group, including being chief financial officer of one entity.
