Helen Rosamond blew a kiss to a supporter and joked with her lawyers as she waited for Judge Robert Sutherland to sentence her for one of the highest profile white-collar crime schemes in Australia’s history.

The mood turned sombre when the judge arrived and Rosamond, 47, dressed in a navy-blue suit, sat silently through a two-hour dissection of her crime, embezzling millions from National Australia Bank.
