LOSS FOR LEADERS

Fund manager Aberdeen Leaders yesterday said it posted a loss of 7.5 per cent before fees in the September quarter amid the sharemarket rout.
Aberdeen Leaders, which is 20 per cent owned by fellow listed investment company Argo Investments, said the pretax value of net assets fell 11.7 per cent over the three months to $1.43 a share. Chairman Brian Sherman said conditions were likely to remain challenging.
