IAG share price defies gravity

In the five weeks since the virus-induced sharemarket volatility began, Insurance Australia Group's share price has shown remarkable resilience, falling just 9 per cent. At close on Tuesday, the S&P/ASX 200 Index is down almost 30 per cent over the same period.
Analysts say there's a very simple reason for that: as the nation locks down, car accidents and burglaries are expected to plummet.
