‘Have courage’, CEOs urge government on financial advice reform

Wealth management companies have called for “bold” legislative change to boost access to financial advice on the eve of the Albanese government’s anticipated response to the contentious Quality of Advice Review.

Assistant Treasurer Stephen Jones is expected to next week announce which – if any – of the review’s recommendations it will accept and outline plans to amend the law to open up professional financial advice to the 90 per cent of people who do not currently receive it.
