A start-up super fund aimed at self-employed Australians that was shut down after it failed to reach scale has sued its trustee for breach of contract.
GigSuper has sued Diversa Trustees in the Supreme Court of Victoria, claiming Diversa did not act efficiently, honestly or fairly, failed to act as a fiduciary to all stakeholders and “instead, provided spurious and misleading reasons for its decision to terminate the fund”.
