Forum Group cloud raises questions over Sydney Olympic FC finances

The financial health of Sydney Olympic FC is coming under question as it emerges the 64-year-old community football club owed millions of dollars to companies controlled by its directors, including Bill Papas’ Forum Group.

The Australian Financial Review can reveal Sydney Olympic owed Forum Group $1.51 million as of the end of the 2018 financial year. A further $583,000 was owed to Titan Cranes, the business operated by the last remaining Sydney Olympic director, Damon Hanlin.
