Former Macquarie equities boss Dan Ritchie jumps to the buy side

Macquarie’s former head of Australian equities is taking the reins at Factory Capital, an investment firm that funds early-stage businesses in Australia and North America.

Dan Ritchie joined Sydney-based Factory earlier this year after wrapping up a 14-year career at Macquarie in December, he told The Australian Financial Review. His move to the buy side comes after 30 years in equities trading, sales and syndication, that also included stints at UBS and Merrill Lynch.
