The Commonwealth Bank is facing a class action litigation suit for allegedly raising fees on superannuation members to fund ongoing commissions to financial advisers.
Plaintiff firm Slater and Gordon has filed a lawsuit in the Federal Court of Australia against the bank’s wealth management subsidiary Colonial First State on behalf of 50,000 consumers it said were charged “excessive superannuation fees”.
