Canaccord’s Peter Hollick enters stockbroking hall of fame

Peter Hollick’s first job was as a Victorian public servant, but he worked out pretty quickly that stockbroking was a better option.

Back in the late 1960s, sharing a house with six others in the Melbourne beachside suburb of St Kilda, Hollick recalls coming home from working at the Department of Labour and National Service and chatting to his flatmates. To a young Hollick, his two stockbroker flatmates had far more interesting jobs than his.
