Betashares to expand into private credit after ETFs hit $50b

Betashares chief executive Alex Vynokur says his exchange-traded funds provider will expand into private credit after assets hit $50 billion.

The firm is one of the three largest ETF providers in Australia and has long flagged an interest in expanding into other financial services, in 2023 acquiring a superannuation business from Bendigo & Adelaide Bank.
