AMP whistleblower suffered 'sustained' sexual harassment: senator
Wealth management company AMP has again been rocked by fresh allegations of "sustained" sexual harassment by senior managers, including groping, explicit photos and being subjected to a man "rubbing his genitals" on a female subordinate, just days after a historic leadership overhaul that was triggered by the company's handling of poor conduct.
According to new allegations aired under parliamentary privilege on Tuesday night, AMP silenced the victim of “sustained sexual harassment by two managers”, one of whom was “repeatedly promoted”, and made the woman feel "like a criminal" after she complained about the behaviour, which she said had cost her untold thousands in foregone earnings and legal and medical costs.
