Adamantem seeking to raise about $350m for ESG fund

Rob Koczkar, a co-founder of buyout group Adamantem Capital, says the group’s latest fund will target one of the most overlooked private equity sectors – financing companies that will help deliver decarbonisation solutions at scale.

As investors increasingly seek exposure to funds with an ESG lens, it seems unlikely that there is any sector of this market lacking capital. But Koczkar, who founded Adamantem with Anthony Kerwick in 2016 after both men left Pacific Equity Partners, says uncertainty is not appealing for private equity.
