When it comes to reducing emissions in our electricity grid, Australia is a world beater. We have the highest uptake of rooftop solar in the world and for the last two years, we have seen record investments in solar and wind, with a combined new capacity of at least eight large coal-fired generators. Emissions fell over 5 per cent in the last 12 months alone and over the next decade, Australia’s emissions will decline even further.
