Senegal oil powers record quarter for Woodside

Woodside Energy’s much-criticised new oil project in Senegal has propelled the oil and gas producer to a record quarterly output that easily beat market expectations.
The rapid ramp-up of production at the Sangomar project to its full capacity of 100,000 barrels a day surprised some analysts and contributed to a modest upgrade in Woodside’s guidance for full-year production.
