Two institutional investors have joined with activist shareholder group the Australasian Centre for Corporate Responsibility to file shareholder statements with Woodside Energy, demanding directors be held to account for the board’s “repeated failure” to present a credible climate strategy.
Vision Super, Betashares and the ACCR are opposing the re-election of three Woodside directors as part of their campaign: former Resources Minister Ian Macfarlane, former Shell Singapore chairwoman Swee Chen Goh and former ConocoPhillips senior executive Larry Archibald.
