Pioneering electricity retailer Flow Power looked on with trepidation as the federal government threatened to build a gas-fired power plant as part of the Commonwealth's gas-led economic recovery.

The retailer's business model, which has revolutionised the way companies buy renewable energy as well as minimising their power use, is geared towards transitioning big energy consumers away from fossil fuels to help the country achieve net-zero emissions and, importantly, save money along the way.
