Australia's energy grid will face its first real test of the summer with a heatwave to reach its peak in Queensland on Wednesday.
With the Australian Energy Market Operator issuing a "lack of reserve" warning in NSW on Sunday afternoon, the hot conditions in eastern Australia have put additional pressure on the electricity grid.
