An activist shareholder group has asked Woodside Energy investors to vote against the re-election of all three directors standing at the annual general meeting because of “chronically poor” shareholder returns and a failure to manage climate risks.
In members’ statements filed with the oil and gas producer, the Australasian Centre for Corporate Responsibility, said votes against sustainability chairwoman Ann Pickard, audit and risk committee chairman Ben Wyatt and sustainability committee member Tony O’Neill were all warranted.
