There are 2.4 million company directors in Australia, and not all of them at the big end of town. "Board members of all sorts of entities are affected by legislation which includes onerous director liability laws," said an AICD spokesperson. "This includes small private companies, family-owned companies, charities, not-for-profit companies and public companies."
