The Australian sharemarket is still warming up when it comes to tech stocks. Which means many investors are looking abroad at ETFs that give them exposure to the great global tech stocks to achieve the required allocation to that sector.

Christian Obrist, head of iShares Australia, says with the S&P/ASX 200 having only a 2 per cent exposure to technology, investors usually have their eyes on US and Asian businesses to achieve a meaningful holding in this sector.
