As WiseTech Global lays it on thick with acquisitions, investor days and other shows of strength, investors must not forget their board’s most important job is not done yet: picking a chief executive.

Everything we’ve seen out of WiseTech since Richard White stepped aside in October suggests the board wants to keep this band rolling. The trick for this year will be to insert a new leader into the mix and keep it going.
