The veteran entrepreneur and investor will take a leap into the world of politics and policy with the launch of his new grassroots community organisation.
Venture capital investing isn’t for the faint of heart. But politics is something else entirely – as Paul Bassat might be about to find out.
On Tuesday, the co-founder of Seek and venture capital firm Square Peg will emerge as the founder and chairman of a new organisation called Amplify, which will attempt to capture the views of the Australian community on big societal challenges, and then debate and propose nuanced solutions to the country’s politicians.
