Strangely enough, the market applies very little value to the Foxtel pay-TV and streaming business sitting on the News Corp balance sheet, but it could be worth $4 billion in an IPO.
It is not surprising that the Foxtel turnaround story is being used as a case study at the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of NSW.
It is one of the most impressive seen in subscription entertainment over the past six years.
