This super fund is cashing in on climate risk
Insurers dealing with climate change love telling us how much harder it is to get reinsurance and how it is more expensive. But this Aussie super fund is making money from it.
Big superannuation funds have all been out spruiking FY24 returns, beating their chests with mostly above-average returns and trying to win more customers.
Most of them made money in FY24 in listed equities, and US technology stocks in particular. The further away from US tech stocks, generally the worse the returns, which is also the story of the past five years.
