Impact investing database hopes to increase sector's pulling power

That's how Stephen Cassidy, the lead trustee and vice-chairman on the Fire Department of New York Pension & Investment Boards, with $US11 billion in assets, dismissed so-called impact investing this week at the Australian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association Limited conference.
