Influential proxy advisers CGI Glass Lewis have reversed a decision to spare the embattled AMP board at the firm's shareholder meeting on May 10, and has sided with major super funds preparing to vote against the directors.

Following a series of meetings on Tuesday, CGI sent out a revised report late that evening which recommended against the reelection of the three AMP directors who face re-election - Holly Kramer, Vanessa Wallace and Andrew Harmos.
