The identity of a man accused of stabbing and killing a young tradie in the northern suburbs last month can now be revealed.
On Monday, the Adelaide Magistrates Court lifted a secrecy order suppressing the identity of Sobhan Shamsoddini, 27, who has been charged with murdering Dakota ‘Koda’ Woodford at a Paralowie home last month.
Just before 7am on Tuesday February 27, emergency services were called to Henry St, Paralowie after reports a man had been stabbed.
Koda was rushed from the home, which belongs to his grandparents, to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with critical injuries but died a short time later.

At Mr Shamsoddini’s first court appearance, SA Police prosecutors applied for the alleged murderer’s identity to be suppressed to protect the integrity of the ongoing murder investigation.
Magistrate Ben Sale however reviewed the order on Monday morning, hearing police had since finalised their identification procedures.
“If memory serves, the basis of the application was that investigations and identification procedures were being conducted, and it was thought that were the identity of the defendant be broadcast, it would prejudice those investigations,” Mr Sale said.
“Have those investigations been completed?”
“I can confirm that they have been completed. We are not opposed to the suppression order being lifted today,” the prosecutor said.
Mr Shamsoddini, of Sheidow Park, is understood to be a painter known by Mr Woodford, a qualified concreter.
Police previously said it was not yet clear why the 27-year-old alleged attacker was at the 23-year-old’s home.
Mr Shamsoddini made no application for bail and was remanded in custody to face court again in June.
