A man who followed a young girl into a bathroom before indecently assaulting her has admitted to the crime after being charged with assaulting girls on two more occasions.
On Monday, Munti Frank Davies appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court charged with three separate counts of assault.
The court heard Davies had indecently assaulted his first victim on August 2 this year, with two more assaults following in the weeks after.
At the time of the second incident, SA Police said one of the young female victims was followed into the bathroom of the Adelaide Railway Station by a man before he touched her indecently on the back.
“On the 2nd of August this year, you indecently assaulted (a girl) in Adelaide,” Magistrate Ben Sale said.
“On the 12th of August, you assaulted (another girl) in Adelaide.”
Davies, appearing via audio visual link from custody, pleaded guilty to two of the three charges.
However, Tim McGrath, for Davies, told the court he believed there would be a guilty plea to the third count at a later date.
“We are waiting to receive information about the third file, but I suggest that will also be a guilty plea,” he said.
Davies will return to court in December.
