A woman is in a critical condition after allegedly being stabbed in Adelaide’s north, just hours after an unrelated stabbing a few suburbs away.

A woman is fighting for life after she was allegedly stabbed in the upper torso in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on Thursday night.
Police arrested another woman at the scene, and said early indications suggested the pair are known to each other.
About 6:40pm, police and emergency services were called to a house in Bronte Cres, Elizabeth East, to reports that a woman had been stabbed.
MedStar was called and the woman was rushed to hospital in a critical condition.
It was the second stabbing in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on the same day, after a 17-year-old boy allegedly stabbed an elderly man in an unrelated incident at nearby Surrey Downs, about 9.45am.
Police have urged anyone who may have witnessed either incident to call Crime Stoppers.
