The Adelaide South Sudanese community is shattered after 25-year-old “young giant” Kuol Tiir Kuol was killed in a horror motor vehicle crash just days after Christmas.

On social media, family and friends remembered the “very responsible young man”who tragically died at the scene of the December 28 crash in the northern suburbs.

The Bor County Community Association in South Australia posted a statement about the devastating death on social media, remembering the “innocent soul”.

“Losing a young and energetic person like Kuol is a tough and intolerable scenario,” the statement said.

“Members of Bor County in South Australia and indeed the entire South Sudanese Community is mourning with you.”

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched by Achiech Nhail to cover the funeral costs for the man known as ‘Kay Kay’ to friends and family and who was described as “the kindest person”.

“He was so rare,” Achiech Nhail said on the campaign page.

“Heaven truly gained an angel to be reckoned with, in the best way.

“Kuol was a son, brother and a friend to many... he brightened the lives of so many with his laugh, sense of humour, and selfless nature.

“Kuol was always there for everyone and made sure everyone was okay.”

Family and friends took to Facebook to honour the young man.

“Road accidents are shockers to families, it’s unimaginable to believe young giant Kuol Tiir Kuol, 25, has just gone in blink of an eye without being saved,” Majok Wutchok said.

“His death caught us all by surprise and it is so unfair to loss this young soul,” Dor Akec said.

Kuol, from Elizabeth Vale, was killed just before 9pm at the intersection of Main North and Frost roads at Salisbury South following a collision between a car and the motorcycle he was riding.

He was unable to be revived and died at the scene.

The driver of the Mazda sedan, a 23-year-old Greenwith woman, was not physically injured in the collision.
