Elizabeth Vale man, 25, killed in two-vehicle crash at Salisbury South

A young motorcycle rider has been killed in a two-vehicle crash at Salisbury South on Wednesday night.
The Elizabeth Vale man, 25, was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
He was the 13th person to lose their life in a motorbike crash on South Australian roads in 2022.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Main North and Frost roads following a collision between a car and a motorcycle just before 9pm.

Main North Road is closed between Kings Road and Frost Road in both directions due to a collision.

The driver of the Mazda sedan, a 23-year-old Greenwith woman, was not physically injured in the collision.
Police will continue to investigate the crash with Major Crash examining the scene overnight.
Main North Rd was closed for both north and southbound traffic between Smith Rd and Kings Rd for several hours but has since reopened.
The Elizabeth Vale man’s death is the 70th life lost on South Australian roads so far this year. The road toll at the same time last year was 99.
The crash follows the death of two teens at in a single car collision at Lochiel on Tuesday night which has left a third man fighting for life.
