Two teammates remain among Adelaide’s top run scorers but have still been unable to claim No. 1 spot, held by a Northern suburbs powerhouse in our rankings of more than 11,000 cricketers.

The Messenger has compiled the full rankings of every Adelaide batter this season by runs scored and all bowlers by wickets taken.

Junior, senior, male and female players from Adelaide’s four main metro competitions – Premier Cricket, Adelaide Turf, Adelaide and Suburban and Para Districts – are included.

Rankings will be updated until season’s end.

West Torrens stars close in on Salisbury West juggernaut

West Torrens stars Daniel Drew and Kelvin Smith sit second and 13th on the current run scorer standings but have been unable to catch Salisbury West gun Jamie McIntyre.

McIntyre, who boasts a top score of 257 this season, has been on fire as of late, piling on 164 runs in his last two innings to remain at the top of the leaderboard.

McIntyre has thrived for the Tigers and has exuded full confidence at the crease, tallying 57 boundaries in his 11 innings.

Daniel Drew has propelled himself up to 736 runs after a huge 158 not out performance against Southern District.

The star batter has been in and out of the side due to South Australia and Big Bash commitments but remains an integral part of the Eagles’ success.

Teammate Kelvin Smith has also continued to impress, currently on 587 runs in 10 innings.

Other notable names are Adelaide Uni’s William Bosisto (684 runs) and Flinders Park young gun Hamish Height (676 runs).

Top bowlers are tied, with Sheidow Park’s Sean McLaughlin remaining on top alongside Peninsula Pirates’ Troy Recizsen.

Craigmore’s Aaron Sebastyan has hit strong form to propel himself into third spot, taking eight wickets from his last two innings.
