‘Perfect’ three-level seaside hotspot opens in Henley Beach, featuring a rooftop bar

A “perfect” three-level seaside destination has popped up in Henley Beach, just in time for the hot summer weather.
Combining former businesses Melt Henley, SeaSalt Society, and West, into Henley House, the new bar and restaurant features three levels of dining and drinking experiences.
Renowned Adelaide restaurateur Simon Kardachi – whose other concepts include Fugazzi Bar & Dining Room, Shobosho, Osteria Oggi, Maybe Mae, Bread & Bone Wood Grill, Nido Bar Pasta, and ShoSho – is behind the rebrand.
Co-owner Emma Kardachi said the space is a “beachside pavilion” that flows through three levels, offering one concept.
“It’s really focused on great grazing and share plates, local seafood, wood-grilled steaks, pasta, keeping it simple and keeping it to what people like to eat when they come down to the beach,” she said.
On street level, Henley House Beachfront features a reimagined all day menu, with snacks and traditional pub grub, allowing diners to have a bite and drink directly overlooking the beach.
Then there’s the Henley House Dining Room and Bar, with a balcony as well as an area to catch up on a game of sports in the front bar.
There’s even a rooftop bar on the top level, open from afternoon to night, with bespoke cocktails on offer.
In an Instagram post, Henley House gave their followers a good look into what to expect from the new space.
“We’re excited to announce that our seaside pavilion has evolved to bring you one perfect Henley destination across three levels,” the post read.
“Enjoy our brand new food menu across the site, including our refreshed beachfront esplanade space and upstairs in the seaview dining room, plus bespoke cocktails in our rooftop bar.” ️
Henley House is open seven days from 11.30am until late, and the rooftop bar is open Thursday and Friday from 4pm until late, and Saturday and Sunday from 2pm until late.
