The ARIA Award winning musos have promised a spectacular show to close off the richest race on turf, the Everest at Royal Randwick on Saturday.

“There’s nothing we love more than playing in our hometown of Sydney live and we are back,” Peking Duk’s Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles told The Daily Telegraph.

“The Everest is going to be full of good times and great tunes and it will be so good to see everyone in the crowd up and dancing after a big day.

“Come down, sing along and celebrate the return of live music with us after what has been an incredibly tough few years for the industry. We will be playing all our classics, favourite tunes and some new ones that no one has heard yet.”

They follow an impressive line-up of artists to have already performed as part of the eight week Everest Carnival, including Sneaky Sound System and Queen Forever.

Miami Horror and Furnace and the Fundamentals will also perform on dates through the carnival.

The Everest is the richest race on turf, run over 1200m, with its $15 million prize and a 40,000 plus crowd expected at Randwick on Saturday.

Peking Duk meanwhile are one of our top music acts of the past decade with huge hits here and abroad including High, Take Me Over and Stranger.

The Everest Carnival has attracted some of the biggest names in entertainment to perform with the likes of Kelly Rowland, Jason Derulo and Liam Payne previous headliners. The Golden Eagle is Australia’s second richest race, run over 1500m with a $10 million prize money to be won.
