Punters will score a bonus gift when chart topping British band Rudimental perform at the 2022 Everest Carnival.

The Feel The Love musos will headline the Golden Eagle Day at Rosehill Gardens on October 29, then back it up at The Big Dance on Melbourne Cup Day at Royal Randwick on November 1.

“We have got some new singles dropping really soon so we will have some brand new music,” Rudimental’s Piers Aggett told The Daily Telegraph. “We are gearing up to our first single in almost a year so we are excited about this new chapter. I’d say we’ve gone back to our roots of drum and bass but it is going to be a modern version of our classic drum and bass sounds. We are delivering that home feeling with a 2022 edge.”

The Everest Carnival has attracted some of the biggest names in entertainment to perform with the likes of Kelly Rowland, Jason Derulo and Liam Payne previous headliners.

The Golden Eagle is Australia’s second richest race, run over 1500m with a $10 million prize money to be won.

Four-piece Rudimental’s DJ set will take place ‘After The Last’ as a free concert for the expected crowd of up to 30,000 punters.

“Australia has always been a place close to our hearts, kind of like our second home really,” Aggett said. “We have shared so many great memories over there so we are looking forward to coming back for sure.”

The inaugural $2 million The Big Dance meanwhile will be run over 1600m on Melbourne Cup Day.

Aggett has a message for the crowd.

“Our DJ sets are full of energy,” Aggett said. “If you are not dancing, we will pick you out of the crowd and send you home literally in a car. It is an infectious vibe really … we are going to be dancing around and I am sure the crowd will be into it too.”
