ABC Adelaide’s Ali Clarke has lost the breakfast radio crown she has held all year to FIVEaa’s dynamic duo David Penberthy and Will Goodings in the latest Adelaide radio market survey.

For the first time this year Dave and Will have claimed the number one spot, a position they held for five out of eight surveys last year.

In survey five for 2019, Clarke, who has won the breakfast slot all year so far, fell to second place, dropping 0.7 points to 13.4, behind Dave and Will’s 13.8, who slipped 0.2 points.

Ali Clarke and Dave and Will are still well in front of their nearest rivals Mix 102.3’s Mark Soderstrom and Jodie Oddy, who gained 0.8 points to 11.6 points and sit at third place — a point behind on 10.6 are Nova 919’s Dylan Lewis and Hayley Pearson.

Hit107 team brekky Rebecca Morse and Andrew “Cosi” Costello rose slightly, gaining 0.1 to 7.2 to clinch sixth position in breakfast.

It’s been a big fall for Mix 102.3’s breakfast team, which tied with the ABC for number one in the first ratings survey for the year at 13.3 points.

Mix is still overall Adelaide’s top-rating station with 13.3 per cent of the market after gaining 1.2 points. FIVEaa is again in second at 11.0 after a drop of 0.1, followed by Nova 91.9 at third, remaining unchanged at 10.9.

The ABC and easy-listening CRUISE1323 are tying for fourth place overall, on 9.3.
