ABC Adelaide’s Ali Clarke is queen of the breakfast airwaves in the third radio ratings survey of the year.
In her second consecutive win, Ali rose 0.8 points to hold on to the crown with 15.5 - her best result in 12 months.
But FIVEaa’s David Penberthy and Will Goodings are gaining ground.
The duo, who have been in third place all this year, are up 1.4 points to 12.5, securing them second place ahead of Mix 102.3’s Mark Soderstrom and Jodie Oddy — who dropped 1.3 points to 12.2.
Hit107’s new breakfast hosts Rebecca Morse and Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello took a hit of 1.3 to fall to 8.0 and take sixth place, behind Nova 919’s Dylan Lewis and Hayley Pearson and 104.7 Triple M's Mark Ricciuto and Chris Dittmar, in the crucial breakfast timeslot.
Mix 102.3 is still Adelaide’s number one station with a 12.2 per cent share of the market despite a dip of 1.7 points.
Its loss appears to be FIVEaa’s gain. The AM station was up 1.5 points to 10.5, making it the number three station just behind ABC Adelaide’s 10.9 after a 0.7 point rise.
Last month, ABC’s evening presenter, Sunday Mail columnist Peter Goers, rose a huge 2.3 points but hasn’t maintained his momentum, falling 0.7 to tie second place with Nova 91.9, which was up 0.2 points to 11.8 with its syndicated evening show Smallzy’s Surgery.
Jeremy Cordeaux is still number one in the evenings slot, with 17.4 after a 1.9 gain.
