Wilogical follows TV comic Wil Anderson as he struggles to relate to the residents of his new home town Mullumbimby, NSW, which has been coined the anti-vax capital of Australia.
He recounts various interactions he has found himself part of during the past two years, from arguing with anti-vaxxers, to overhearing a woman talk about how a temperature test wiped her five-year-old son’s memory.
Apparently, he’s been told, apple cider vinegar is a cure for not only the virus but essentially everything.
From the moment he steps on stage, Anderson maintains his trademark energy throughout the whole performance. His ability to call on the audience and think of witty comebacks is unmatched and relentlessly fun to witness.
In between, Anderson throws out topical and hilarious jokes about NFTs and US podcaster Joe Rogan which keep the audience in stitches.
However, the majority of the material was Covid related, which did stunt the performance. If you’re looking for an escape from the world of the virus, this might not be the antidote.
